It's been a long time since I've posted, I know. I got kind of blah with the whole blog thing. We've been doing lots of things this summer and I have lots of pictures that I could put on here but I hate how long it takes to upload. The boys went to South Dakota for a week with their dad and then to Colorado for a week. Then they were back for a week and we went camping in Logan, or as I like to call it my one week Facebook detox. :) The boys are now on a camping trip with their grandparents. I couldn't go because of work and they really really wanted to go so I sent them without me. The break is kind of nice so that I can finish up all of my stuff for the start of the next semester without feeling like I'm neglecting them.
As for my weight loss progress, I still have a long way to go! I hit a huge plateau and no matter what I did I couldn't break it. So, like the brain that I am, I decided to take some time to maintain. Two months later I still can't get back into the swing of things when it comes to working out. The good thing is that without working out and without watching what I eat I haven't gained any weight, not even one pound. I guess that's good but now I really am trying to get focused again. And I mean hard core focused like I was before. So, here is my plan. I found this on someones blog (I don't remember where) and I thought that this could work to get me focusing again.
Thirty Days of (insert what your goal is here). Mine is Thirty Days of Health, and all that that entails. No sugar, very little red meat, lots of water, fiber, veggies, and of course lots of working out. So, I dedicate the entire month of August to 30 Days of {Blank}! You can play along if you want too.
As for school Parley starts third grade, Ethan is starting Kindergarten and I officially start the pre-nursing program next month. I passed the state exams and got my CNA which is peanuts compared to how far I still have to go but it's a start.

that's awesome you got your CNA, and you're starting the pre nursing program now. Are you going to work as a CNA or what's your plan? good luck with your 30 days of blank...you're determined and you'll succeed!
I'm going to do 30 Days of Licorice and Nachos... I'll see if I can eat them for a straight month without getting tired of them or throwing up.
Wish me luck!
(Seriously, tho, good for you!)
I've hit a weight loss plateau, too. I'm not gaining anything, but I just can't seem to bust below 190. Gah! It's frustrating!
Good luck on your 30 days of health. You've been able to do everything you've set your mind to recently, so I have no doubt you'll do this!
Congrats on getting your CNA and best of luck with school this semester!
I'm so impressed with all that you've accomplished this past year. You should be proud!
